“The Polish National Catholic Church, through the grace of God, is built by its faithful. The community’s ownership of its property, its control over parish assets, is greater than mere title, it is greater than the democracy we espouse.”
Can you explain something for me? If the above is true, why does the
PNCC fight in the courts to prevent the Toronto cathedral from using
“ownership of its property” and “control over parish assets” to remain
affiliated with the Old Catholic Churches in Europe? Likewise, other
local parishes could not separate from the PNCC, keeping their property
and assets. If they really own their property and control their assets,
why can they not keep them when they decide to leave the PNCC?
Thank you.
Thomas,
Rather than re-posting the whole thing, I refer back to my comments under Protest the closing of your parish and the PNCC way. My response to your question under that post should suffice.
Your welcome.
