    Can you explain something for me? If the above is true, why does the
    PNCC fight in the courts to prevent the Toronto cathedral from using
    “ownership of its property” and “control over parish assets” to remain
    affiliated with the Old Catholic Churches in Europe? Likewise, other
    local parishes could not separate from the PNCC, keeping their property
    and assets. If they really own their property and control their assets,
    why can they not keep them when they decide to leave the PNCC?
