Saint Sharbel Makhloof, whose memory is celebrated by Maronite Christians, had a particular devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

On this day we ask St. Sharbel to intercede for us and beg Our Lady of Lebanon:

O Mother of the Life, petition your divine Son
to keep away from us all the effects of evil,
to preserve us from all animosity
and to strengthen us on our way.
